The Offshore Wind Podcast
Future ports and coastal communities
Show Notes

The offshore wind industry is a major contributor to economic growth in coastal areas, bringing in investment to revive critical infrastructure such as ports and creating thousands of jobs in the community.  However, there are many different stakeholders that are also part of coastal economies, such as fisheries, and it is crucial that offshore wind engages and works together with these stakeholders to benefit the wider community.

In this episode, hosts Ben Backwell and Stewart Mullin are joined by Benj Sykes, Vice President, UK Offshore and Head of UK Market Development, Consenting & External Affairs at Ørsted to discuss how the offshore industry can reinvigorate coastal communities and support development of state-of-the-art ports to create even more economic opportunities.
